Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Professional / Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), with dual licensure preferred, to join our dynamic and fast growing behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and addiction counseling services, utilizing evidence-based practices to support individuals on their journey to recovery and well-being. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding systems, to identify mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and behavioral management techniques.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on addiction recovery, trauma resolution such as PTSD care, and mental health stabilization.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and crisis management strategies to ensure client safety during acute episodes or emergencies.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards; maintain detailed medical records and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, discharge planning, and coordinating home or community-based care services.
  • Utilize research-backed approaches to enhance clinical outcomes; stay current with ICD coding updates (ICD-9/10) and CPT coding for billing purposes.

Experience

  • Valid licensure as a Mental Health Professional (e.g., LPC, LCSW) or Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC); dual licensure preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy, addiction counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral health treatment across diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), HIPAA compliance, and electronic medical records management.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and case management within hospital or community settings.
  • Experience working with children & families, providing family counseling or home & community care is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in group therapy facilitation, applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work principles, and trauma-informed care approaches such as CPT. Pay: $25.74 – $31.00 per hour
