Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your role will involve assisting in medical procedures, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: – Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of patients – Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses – Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies – Assist in medical procedures, including spinal taps and catheterizations – Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans for patients – Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices – Perform discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients – Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems (Cerner) – Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety – Participate in clinical research studies as needed Skills: – In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology – Proficient in clinical research methodologies – Experience working with electronic medical record systems, such as Cerner – Strong understanding of discharge planning processes – Ability to perform spinal taps and catheterizations – Knowledge of infection control systems and protocols – Competence in conducting physical examinations – Familiarity with occupational health practices We offer competitive compensation packages and benefits for our employees.
