Position: Physician Assistant (Part-Time)
About Us: Joel Wellness Clinic is a leading primary care and weight-loss clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our patients. Led by Binju Joel, MD, FOMA our team specializes in various aspects of obesity management and primary care services for patients ages 15 and older.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Schedule: Part-time position, between 12-20 hours per week. Flexible schedule available.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Perform routine medical procedures, including but not limited to physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and therapeutic interventions
- Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and outcomes
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Michigan
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in internal medicine or primary care setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care with compassion and empathy
