Do you want to make an Impact? Enjoy working with the Geriatric population? We are seeking to hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join or team to provide medical care within a skilled nursing facility.
Position is in Charlotte, NY
No on-call required
Responsibilities:
Perform routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition.Conduct examinations on acute changes in condition.Communicate with resident families or appointed representative regarding resident status.Manage and prescribe pharmaceuticals.Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely records on all encounters/interactions.Collaborate with providers, DON/ADON, nursing staff, support staff, and administration with a goal of improved patient care.Consult and utilize specialty services as required to provide comprehensive care to residents.Keep records of patients’ diseases, operations or other significant information.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from accredited program.
- Board certified in field of practice.
- Active NY license to practice in field.
- Self-motivated.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Compassionate and approachable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
