We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addiction Medicine PA or NP to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using DSM-5 criteria and ICD coding standards, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to medical documentation standards, EMR/EHR management protocols, HIPAA regulations, and confidentiality policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring disorders.
• Background experience in primary care or internal medicine preferable but not required.
• Proficiency in clinical documentation standards, medical terminology, ICD-9/10 coding systems (or equivalent), CPT coding for billing purposes, and EHR/EHR management systems.
• Strong skills in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis, and group therapy facilitation.
• Experience conducting client assessments in therapy settings, including intake procedures and diagnostic evaluations using DSM-5 criteria.
• Ability to perform crisis intervention effectively while managing high-pressure situations with professionalism.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality across all interactions.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice in addiction medicine and behavioral health treatment approaches.

Pay: $60.00 – $75.00 per hour
