Full Job Description

WELLCARE URGENT CARE is looking for a FULL-TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT/RAD TECH. We have 4 locations in Grand Rapids. Our Leonard location operates from 7am -11pm seven (7) days a week and our Cascade Standale and Lowell location operates from 8am to 8pm seven (7) days a week. The full-time MEDICAL ASSISTANT will do a combination of 8hr, 12hr and a 16hr shift in a week and will get between 36-40 hours a week. Opportunity for growth into leadership positions comes along with this position.

AART CERTIFIED RAD TECHS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. PAY VARIES BASED ON AART CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE AS A RAD TECH.

Responsibilities:

– Perform rapid testing ,ekgs,blood draws, intake of patients.
– Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
– Develop and process X-ray films or digital images
– Review images for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper identification and labeling
– Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information

Requirements:

– Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
– Medical assistant experience preferred but not a requirement

– Training will be provided on the job

As a Medical Assistant/Radiologic Technologist, you will be a vital member of the healthcare team, providing essential medical support and radiologic services. With core skills in medical administrative support, patient care, and EHR systems, you will assist in patient intake, care, and record-keeping. Your premium skills in urgent care will enhance your ability to provide specialized services in these areas. Relevant skills in X-Ray, emergency medicine, and outpatient care will further strengthen your role in delivering quality healthcare. Possessing ARRT Certification and strong communication skills, you will contribute to the efficient operation of medical facilities and ensure the well-being of patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
