Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify urgent or chronic conditions.
• Assist in diagnostic evaluation by ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures utilizing EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner.
• Provide treatment including medication administration, injection procedures (e.g., Botulinum toxin treatments), suturing, wound care, and airway management.
• Manage acute pain and participate in pain management protocols while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
• Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems like eClinicalWorks or Cerner; ensure proper CPT coding for billing purposes.

Skills

• Skilled in performing physical examinations, diagnostic evaluation, suturing techniques, phlebotomy, and aseptic technique.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology principles relevant to diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Experience with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9 & ICD-10 coding for accurate billing; familiarity with ICD coding standards.
• Excellent patient care skills including intake assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration (including injections), health coaching and discharge planning. Pay: $65.00 – $75.00 per hour
