Role Description
This is a part-time PRN (as needed) role for a Registered Nurse (RN) at Radiant Vascular Institute, PC. The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care in an outpatient interventional radiology setting. Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians during treatments, monitoring patient recovery, and providing education tailored to each patient. This is an on-site role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, monitoring, and care delivery in a healthcare or outpatient setting
- Experience in assisting with minimally invasive procedures, IV starts, and administering sedation
- Effective communication skills to educate and interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Current RN license in good standing and Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience in interventional radiology, vascular procedures, or a similar specialty is a plus
