Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans. This position requires a strong commitment to patient wellness and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and best practices.
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic tests to evaluate patient health status.
- Administer treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed, including catheterization when necessary.
- Provide education to patients regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Address behavioral health concerns through appropriate interventions and referrals as needed.
- Utilize sonography techniques when applicable for diagnostic purposes.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5:30p
No call shifts
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 12-18 per day
Cases: Pre-surgical evaluation, perioperative services
No procedures required
EMR: Epic
Board certification required

Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and psychopharmacology principles.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and the ability to provide compassionate care.
- Familiarity with standards of care in various clinical settings.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing clinical duties.
- Competence in recognizing changes in patient conditions and responding appropriately.

Pay: $124,158.00 – $150,000.00 per year
