We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a team member, you will play a crucial role in providing extensive evaluations to veterans across various medical settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and driven individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality evaluations. This is a very independent position, built around your schedule- part-time or full-time opportunities. Reimbursement per patient, no insurance claims.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough patient assessments and complete extensive charting.- Review medical documentation and provide an expert medical opinion in regard to a disability.- Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
– Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of [LOCATION]- MUST have 2 years valid NP/PA experience.
– Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the desired specialty area (e.g., Adult-Gerontology)- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation/ charting practices.- Strong clinical skills with the ability to provide comprehensive evaluations.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team independently.- Prior experience in the VA settings is preferred but not required.
