Urgent need for a Physician Assistant or Nurse practitioner specialized in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery in Fort Wayne, INEMR: Cerner
This would be a 5- 8s or 4- 10s position with on-call included.The surgery site is a 24-hour service requiring either 5- 8-hour shifts or 4- 10-hour shifts plus on-call to the OR.This person would be working in the OR doing cases. They would work 4 10-hour days each week from 0630-1700. Take call 1-2 nights a week from 1700-0700 and then be on call on the weekends from Saturday 0700-0630 on Monday morning
Duties– Conduct patient assessments and examinations- Order and interpret diagnostic tests- Develop and implement treatment plans- Assist in surgeries and medical procedures- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members- Maintain accurate patient records
Cases: NP or PA with cardiothoracic experience. PAs must know how to endo vein harvest.
