Full Job Description

Position Highlights:
  • Position: Physician Assistant – Orthopedics/Adult Reconstruction – Medical Group
  • Location: Skokie Hospital, Skokie, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  • Required Travel: Glenbrook Hospital
What you will do:
  • Provide comprehensive health care services under the direction and supervision of an assigned physician.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients specific to their area of expertise.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
  • Perform independent evaluation and treatment procedures in emergency situations in accordance with policies established
  • 1st assist in the operating room
What you will need:
  • License: Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Illinois required. DEA & Illinois Controlled Substance License required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Certification: CPR certification required
  • Experience: Prior Physician Assistant experience preferred. Ortho experience through work or clinical rotations/fellowship highly preferred.
