Advance Inpatient Medicine is a private Hospitalist group. This job is for a role at UChicago Adventhealth Hinsdale and Lagrange Hospitals. You will be employed by our private group. We have 3 APPs in our group but 1 is leaving. We are looking for a long term APP hire to fill a role in the evenings/nights. You will be rotating with another APP covering evenings for half the time and cover nights half the time. We can talk on the phone to discuss the job opening more before an official interview. We are looking to hire someone to start soon.
HIGHLIGHTS:
-Strong competitive compensation
-Work from home job when on nights. need to be able to go into SNFs for rounding and come to hospital when working the evening position.
-Split the schedule with another APP so you cover evening role half the time and cover the night role half the time. So for example, maybe cover evenings for 2 months straight then switch to nights for 2 months or something similar to that
-Evening and Night hours
Evening APP role:
-work Monday to Friday. 1pm to 9pm. Work at local SNFs for few hours to start the day then work at hospital doing admissions until 9pm. Exact hours are TBD but we can be flexible.
Night APP role
-one APP will work Mon to Thur nights, 4 nights. 9pm to 7am. 9pm to 12am help with admission notes and admit orders on new patients from ER. 12am to 7am do cross cover, new admit orders, organize the new patients to reassign the patients to the day doctors
-second APP will work Fri to Sun nights, 3 nights, 7pm to 7am. 7pm to 12am is same as above. 12am to 7am is same as above
