Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Interventional Pain Practice

Modern Pain Consultants seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional patient care within our Interventional Pain Management Practice. As a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant specializing in pain management, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and pain evaluations.
• Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans for pain management, including interventional procedures, medication management, and other therapeutic modalities.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as trigger point injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, and epidural steroid injections.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and develop pain management strategies.
• Educate patients and their families on pain management: techniques, medication usage, and self-care strategies.
• Document patient encounters, procedures performed, and treatment plans promptly and accurately.
• Maintain high professionalism, adhering to ethical standards and complying with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in IL
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
