Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our private practice in Arlington Heights. This position requires a strong foundation in physiology, excellent triage skills, and the ability to diagnose and treat patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Perform triage to prioritize patient care effectively.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by supervising physicians.
- Prescribe medication appropriately
- Call patients with test results and provide some patient education
- Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Order and evaluate diagnostic labs or tests
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology.
- Experience in internal medicine s highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Hours
- On average, 30 clinic hours per week. This will include one evening until 7:30pm (Monday) and some Saturday mornings from 8-12.
- Typically one night of call per week with one weekend of call every 4-5 weeks.
- No hospital rounds.
- No nursing home visits

Pay: $110,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
