References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi experience required.
Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12-lead EKG.
Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood product administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs.
Required Medication Skills/Experience: Continuous IV sedation, Emergency medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural sedation administration.
Required Neurological Case Skills/Experience: CVA, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic brain injury.
Required Orthopedic Skills/Experience: Manage/apply splints.
Required Pediatric Case Skills/Experience: Abdominal pain, Asthma, Head injury, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Poison ingestion, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Skin disorders.
Required Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: Acute psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Suicidal patient.
Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tube insertion/management, Intubation.
Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation precautions, Triage.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience, Trauma Level I-II Experience
Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift: 3×12 or 4×12 (15:00-03:30). Will work every other weekend.. no call
