The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 700 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Our Pediatric Orthopedics department is trained to handle the most common of injuries, from sprains, broken bones and sports injuries, to specialized conditions such as arthritis and congenital disorders. Our multi-disciplinary team includes fellowship-trained orthopedic physicians, rheumatologists, physical therapists, nurses and other health care providers that specialize in treating a wide range of injuries in children and adults.
As a Physician Assistant for Pediatric Orthopedics department, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate and life-changing care to newborns and their families. You will be responsible for the direct care and treatment of pediatric orthopedic patients; leading and performing patient evaluations, treatments and specialized technical procedures; serving as a clinical resource to staff and physicians; and facilitating the health education of family members, referrals to other disciplines and consultation with other allied health personnel. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Physician Assistant license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. One (1) year Physician Assistant experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of a specialty specific training program.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in area of specialty.
