As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive patient assessments, obtaining medical histories, and performing physical examinations. You will assist in formulating treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing patient education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively collaborating with physicians, medical staff, and patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
- Obtain detailed medical histories and perform thorough clinical evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medication usage, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity of care
- Manage patient portal messages
Requirements
- Certified and licensed as a Physician Assistant
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care
- Proficient in conducting physical examinations and diagnosing various medical conditions
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $103,934.52 – $125,168.45 per year

- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
- PA-C (Preferred)
- Physician Assistant License (Preferred)
