Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, patient-centered Physician Assistant for our client to join their growing multidisciplinary clinical team. This role is ideal for a PA who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment, values evidence-based medicine, and enjoys collaborating across medical, chiropractic, rehabilitation, and administrative teams. The PA will evaluate and manage patients, develop treatment plans, coordinate care, and help our client continue building a consistent, compliant, high-quality medical model across its clinics.
Key Responsibilities
· Evaluate new and established patients through focused histories, physical examinations, review of diagnostic studies, and clinical assessment.
· Develop, document, and execute evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising and treating physicians and the broader care team.
· Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and imaging within scope of practice and organizational protocols.
· Provide follow-up care, patient education, medication management where appropriate, referrals, and coordination of next steps in treatment.
· Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation that supports clinical quality, continuity of care, compliance, and appropriate billing.
· Collaborate closely with physicians, chiropractors, rehabilitation providers, clinical directors, practice managers, and regional leaders.
· Help ensure consistent clinical workflows, documentation standards, and patient-care protocols across the assigned clinic or region.
· Identify changes in patient condition, red flags, or cases requiring escalation and coordinate appropriately with physicians or emergency services.
· Participate in quality-improvement, compliance, patient-experience, and operational initiatives as our client expands its medical model.
· Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional patient service.
Ideal Candidate
· Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing a varied outpatient patient population.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
· Highly organized and able to maintain strong documentation quality and throughput in a busy clinical environment.
· Comfortable working within standardized clinical protocols while exercising appropriate professional judgment.
· A team-oriented leader who communicates clearly, accepts feedback, and contributes to continuous improvement.
· Experience in orthopedics, musculoskeletal medicine, pain management, urgent care, family medicine, occupational medicine, or a similar setting is preferred.
Required Qualifications
· Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
· Current, unrestricted Georgia Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain Georgia licensure.
· Current NCCPA certification.
· DEA registration and prescribing eligibility as required for the position.
· Current BLS certification; additional certifications may be required based on clinical responsibilities.
· Ability to meet all credentialing, background-check, and compliance requirements.
Compensation & Opportunity
· Base salary: $175,000 annually.
· Bonus opportunity with expected total compensation potential of $200,000+.
