Advanced Practice Provider – Heart Failure PRN – Atlanta, GA
Piedmont is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Heart Failure team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This is a PRN position needing at least one consistent day a week as well as coverage on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Complete office visits with newly diagnosed patients as well as follow up appointments
- Spend time educating patients on condition and medication management
- Augment a physician’s ability to provide medical services to patients
- Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.
This is a slower paced clinic with a large emphasis on educating patients about their condition and managing their medications. Appointments are scheduled to allow time with each patient.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will be able to commit to one consistent 8 hour day a week as well as have availability for PTO/Sick coverage in clinic.
Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
