Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history intake to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Utilize electronic health record eClinicalWorks for documentation of medical records, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and data management.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory tests, radiology imaging, phlebotomy.

Skills

• Proficiency with eClinicalWorks for comprehensive documentation and data collection.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes; understanding of ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards for accurate documentation.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy; experience with medical imaging or radiation therapy is advantageous.
• Capable of working in high-pressure environments requiring critical thinking during triage or acute care situations.
• Excellent communication skills for patient education on topics like family planning or addiction counseling; adept at health coaching and patient assessment.

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
