OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, internal medicine, and various treatment modalities.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as dermabrasion as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Assist in discharge planning and provide patient education on health management.
• Participate in public health initiatives and home care assessments.
• Utilize knowledge of coding for accurate billing and record-keeping.
• Stay current with advancements in medical practices, including radiation therapy.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with internal medicine practices.
• Experience or knowledge in public health, home care, and discharge planning is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.

Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
