Education: Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant degree
Experience/Qualifications:
- Licensure in the State of Florida as APRN/RN or Physcian Assistant
- American Heart Assocation BLS Certification, for Health Care Provider
- ACLS Certification
- Demonstrates high quality case management abilities and clinical competency
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Experience in OR working as a first assist. Preferrably in the Oncology field.
Position Summary:
The APRN/PA works in collaboration with physicians and other patient care team members, in an active practice to deliver health care services to patients and families.
- Provides direct patient care.
- Performs procedures and prescribes medications under protocol.
- Provides patient education and counseling.
- Participates in the marketing, evaluation and growth at JMC.
- The position will support all of oncology physician plus assisting as first assist in the OR.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
