We are seeking a full-time Physician’s Assistant to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have experience in the medical field and be knowledgeable in orthopedic procedures. The Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the physicians, nurses, and other staff members in the office. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist orthopedic surgeons in the operating room.
- Assist in the pre-operative and post-operative care of patients.
- Maintain patient records and medical charts.
- Prepare patients for surgery.
- Provide support to the orthopedic team.
- Assist with casting, splinting, and bracing of patients.
- Assist with the application of traction devices.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday with practice call coverage one week out of three vs four. ER call responsibilities when surgeon is scheduled.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 – $59.82 per hour
