Job Description:
Provide professional medical care to patients in a base clinic setting. Develop, implement, and maintain preventive care medical plans. Participate in teams as needed to solve medical issues. Maintain government medical records as required in performance of duties.
Place of Performance is at Ascension Island. All travel will be provided by the company.

Qualifications:
At least one year experience as a practicing Certified Licensed NP or PA, Fluent orally and written in the English language. Excellent interpersonal communications skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform medical care for all Ascension Auxiliary Airfield personnel.
- Provide medical care, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive health care services.
- Assess patient’s health needs, diagnose problems and determine treatment plan.
- Develop and implement nursing care for the treatment of acute illness and injury while assisting island hospital physicians.
- Determine if treatment plan requires outpatient care.
- Maintain medical records,
- Assist patients in complying with prescribed medical regimen.
- Provide 24/7 Advanced Life Support services.
- Perform related duties as required.

Safety (Personal Protection) Requirements:
May require hard hat, safety goggles, safety shoes, ear protection, Hard toed safety shoes or boots, safety glasses or goggles, gloves, etc (as required by task)
