Full Job Description
An established dermatology practice in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday. Mainly medical dermatology and some surgical/cosmetics. Two+ years of dermatology experience as an APP is required. Candidates without dermatology experience will not be contacted.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient dermatology services
- Mainly medical dermatology. Room for growth in cosmetics (if desired).
- Performing surgical excisions (if experienced)
- Treat 30-32 patients/day
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Active FL State License or ability to obtain one
- 2+ years of dermatology APP experience required
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
