Essential Functions
- Perform minimally invasive procedures such as Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Biopsies, Lumbar Puncture, Myelogram, Central Venous Access cases, Chest tubes
- Evaluating new patients during consults
- Rounding on patients post procedure
- Work closely with IR Physicians to coordinate patient care
- Body drain and chest tube management
- Collaborate with various specialties within Health First Hospital System
- Perform various Fluoroscopy studies such as Barium Swallow studies, Esophagrams, Upper GI studies, Small Bowel Follow Through, Cystogram
Schedule
- Full time, M-F 8am to 5pm
- Occasional weekend coverage in rotation
- No nights or call

Qualifications
- PA-C or APRN-C
- Active or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
- Current NCCPA Certification for PAs or ANCC Certification for APRNs
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Procedural experience a plus but not required
- Ability to speak and understand the English language
- Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, cost-efficient integrated service that facilitates patient satisfaction, quality, and outcomes in the specialties of anesthesiology, emergency medicine, and radiology. BPA provides services to four Health First hospitals: Holmes Regional Medical Center, Cape Canaveral Hospital, Viera Hospital, Palm Bay Hospital, Melbourne GI Center, and several free-standing diagnostic centers.
