Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant
Beachside Rehab, a Private mental health & substance abuse facility is hiring for a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician’s Assistant (PA) in a PRN capacity. The candidate will be able to work independently and direct/collaborate with the Medical Director and Clinical Director in order to provide holistic, integrated quality of care to our clients.
Primary tasks are: Conducting psychiatric and physical evaluations, prescribing and managing the client & psycho pharmacological treatments, and providing medication and health education. The appropriate candidate will have availability to commit to a regular weekly schedule to assist the facility in delivering patient care.
Required :
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry and substance abuse for APRN or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies with a CAQ in psychiatry.
- Must be licensed to practice in Florida and able to maintain current license.
- Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical experience as an APRN or PA in the substance abuse/mental health field.
