Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Vascular & Wound Care

Georgina Health, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing vascular and wound care practice.

This role provides both in-office and home-based patient care, delivering high-quality vascular and wound management services directly to patients in the community. The position is based across our Fort Myers and Naples offices, with local travel required.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in both clinic and home-care environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of new and established patients in both office and at home setting for:
• Varicose veins
• Chronic venous insufficiency
• Arterial insufficiency
• Vascular and non-vascular related wounds
• Obtain detailed medical histories and perform focused vascular examinations
• Assess disease severity and develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage follow-up care and monitor patient treatment progress
• Adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic studies, including vascular ultrasound imaging
• Correlate clinical findings with imaging results to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Perform in-office vascular procedures including:
• Ultrasound-guided vein access
• Varithena® administration
• Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
• Sclerotherapy for spider veins
• Identify and evaluate candidates for angiogram and additional vascular intervention
• Evaluate and treat chronic wounds related to vascular and systemic disease
• Perform wound assessments, debridement, dressing selection, and compression therapy
• Monitor wound healing progress and signs of infection
• Collaborate with physicians, ultrasound technologists, and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, wound care, compression therapy, and prevention

Care Coordination & Documentation

• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, MAs, and outside specialists
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive EMR documentation to show medical necessity and document ongoing progress
• Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical case reviews

Quality, Compliance & Patient Safety

• Follow established clinical protocols and practice policies
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with CMS and state regulatory standards
• Participate in continuing education and ongoing training
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
• Promptly report and address adverse events or complications

Qualifications

• Active Florida NP or PA license (national certification required)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an NP/PA
• Experience in wound care, vascular medicine, or related specialty
• Strong procedural skills
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient relationship skills
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient and mobile setting
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed per company policy)

Preferred Experience

• 2–5 years in wound care, vascular surgery, or related specialty
• Experience with debridement, compression therapy, and venous disease management
• Familiarity with venous ultrasound interpretation
• Experience with EMR systems (Practice Fusion a plus)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Schedule & Location

• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday
• Time split between Fort Myers and Naples offices, and home-based visits
• Local travel between offices and between home visits required

Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
