Full Job Description

VillageMD is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care teams in Fort Collins & Windsor, CO. We are growing and we’re looking for providers who share our passion for excellence and enthusiasm to drive positive changes with a high level of professionalism, compassion, and integrity.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement treatment plans that are appropriate for each patient’s condition or illness utilizing physical examinations and tests to diagnose acute injuries, illnesses, conditions, infections, disease processes, etc. in both pediatric and adult patients of all ages.

· Conduct minor surgical procedures including ear irrigation, suturing, splinting, toenail and wart removal, incision and drainages, etc.

· Provide educational services to patients regarding their illness or injury.

· Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as imaging or laboratory tests, to help determine the cause of an injury or illness.

· Communication and collaboration with other healthcare team members to discuss patient care plans.

· Provide initial counseling services to patients with behavioral health problems and connect to local resources for further treatments.

· Make appropriate therapeutic, high-quality decisions personalized and in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered.

· Administer appropriate medication or treatment, as necessary.

Requirements:

· Must be a graduate and certified from an accredited advanced practice program.

· At least one year’s experience working with pediatric and adult patients as an advanced practice provider in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room.

· Current, unrestricted State license or be eligible for licensure.

· Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.

· Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

· Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred.

For Colorado Residents only: Compensation Range: $100,000-$130,000+ with upside opportunity based on performance. The selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan. The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, individual performance, quality measures and location of position.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
