Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or physician assistant to join our healthcare team. As an APP you will provide high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Duties:

– Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and vital signs monitoring

– Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies

– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections

– Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team

– Prescribe medications and provide appropriate follow-up care

– Perform procedures such as spinal taps, pain management interventions, and family planning services

– Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures, disease management, and treatment options

– Participate in clinical trials and research studies to advance medical knowledge

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Experience:

– Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or in a similar role preferred

– Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

– Proficient in conducting patient assessments and interpreting diagnostic tests

– Familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures

– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

– Valid Nurse Practitioner or PA-C license in [state]

– Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program

– Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or PA

– BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
