Job Title: Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Full-Time | Denver, CO
Location: North Denver, Colorado (On-Site)
Job Type: Full-Time (W2 or 1099)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-C) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our inpatient behavioral health team in North Denver, Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to work in a structured inpatient setting with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and a balanced 7-on/7-off schedule.
Compensation:
- Up-to $160,000 annually, based off experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses
- Develop and implement treatment plans for inpatient populations
- Manage medications and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license (required)
- Active DEA license (required)
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience (preferred)
- Ability to start within a reasonable timeframe
Schedule:
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- 182 days off annually
- On-site position (non-remote)
