Job Description: Nurse Practitioner in Nuclear Medicine
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Nuclear Medicine department. This full-time position will provide essential support to our team and patients, focusing on quality care and patient monitoring.
Work Details:
- Coverage Needed: Monday – Friday, Full-Time
- Patient Load: 12-15 patients per week, with the APP managing approximately 50 patients receiving ongoing therapy.
- Patient Population: Adult patients
- Department: Nuclear Medicine
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC
- Required Skills:
- Write History of Present Illness (HOP)
- Order and monitor lab tests
- Document progress notes
- Conduct telehealth and video visits
- Order medications
- Provide essential patient care
Practice Setting:
- Outpatient
- Hospital
Requirements:
- Board Certification: One of the following: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
- License: California license required
- DEA: Schedule II CA required; furnishing license necessary
- Certifications:
- Required: BLS, ACLS
- Preferred: Additional relevant certifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; new graduates with relevant RN experience will be considered. Case management experience preferred.

Pay: $4,900.00 – $5,300.00 per week
