Neonatology Physician Assistant

We’re currently seeking a Neonatology Physician Assistant to join our amazing team.

Details of the Opening:

  • Anticipated start date: December 2025
  • Salary Range: $140/hr
  • Anticipated duration of this contract assignment: 13 weeks (Extensions usually offered)
  • Anticipated schedule: Nights; 3 12’s

Daily Range of Responsibilities:

  • Care for extremely low birth weight infants, infants with birth trauam, asphxia and ifants with urgent surgical need.
  • The NNP will not be caring for ECMO pts, but must have all other NICU procedures for credentialing.
  • Level IV NICU intensive care unit
  • Perform comprehensive physical exams on newborns and premature infants.
  • Manage daily rounding on NICU patients, developing and updating care plans.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic neonatal conditions under physician supervision.
  • Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
  • Monitor ventilators, respiratory status, nutrition, and fluid management.

Job Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current PA license in CA
  • NCCPA certification required.
  • Neonatal/Pediatric experience required; NICU or critical care experience highly desirable.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • PALS , BLS – must be AHA certs.
