Veritas Healthcare is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team!
This clinical position provides family medicine in a School-Based Health Center located in Pomona, CA. The center caters to a diverse population from ages four years to 18+, offering a comprehensive range of family medicine services, including preventative medicine, health screening, school/sports physicals, and vaccinations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patient’s health problems and medical emergencies.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and ensure continuity of care.
- Interview patients and their family members to identify patients’ needs and provide personalized care.
- Consult with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on healthy lifestyle choices to promote overall well-being.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Skills & Qualifications:
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Pomona, CA, or equivalent state residency.
- Strong proficiency in medical terminology, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
