Full Job Description
An established neurosurgery practice in the Los Angeles, CA area is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. Candidates will work in clinic, hospital and operating room settings. This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday, occasional weekend hospital rounding.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient, outpatient and first assist services
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
Qualifications:
- 1+ of neurosurgery and/or orthopedic experience preferred
- California State License
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
