Full Job Description
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team and provide wound care services to our patients who reside at skilled nursing facilities 1-2 days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating wounds, educating patients on wound care, and providing referrals to specialists when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and experience in wound care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds.
- Educate patients and families on wound care.
- Perform wound debridement.
- Prescribe medications as needed.
- Document patient information in the medical record.
- Provide wound care education to other healthcare providers.
- Maintain current knowledge of wound care treatments and products.
Job Types: Part-time, Local contract, Permanent
Pay: $140.00 – $210.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
