The Plastics Doc is a luxury plastic surgery and med spa practice that integrates advanced surgical techniques with state-of-the-art non-invasive aesthetic and wellness treatments. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on clinical role that blends surgical assisting, injectables, and wellness medicine. The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients achieve transformative results.
**Please Note: This is not an easy position. It requires hard work, adaptability, and strong clinical initiative. Our practice combines plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, and wellness medicine, and the right candidate must be able to manage a diverse and demanding patient care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)
- Provide postoperative patient care and oversee recovery management
- Administer injectables (neuromodulators, dermal fillers, etc.)
- Perform aesthetic laser and non-invasive procedures in clinic
- Conduct consultations, treatment planning, and patient education
- Order and review patient labs
- Participate in the wellness and med spa programs, including weight loss management, hormone and peptide therapy
- Develop and oversee treatment plans in collaboration with other providers
- Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and patient follow-up
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and staff to maintain excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant (Required)
- Current PA-C license in California (Required)
- Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or aesthetic medicine preferred
- Strong procedural confidence and a commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment
