Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Neurology

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our outpatient neurology clinic in South Gate, California. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced neurologist in a collaborative, patient-centered environment dedicated to providing exceptional neurological care.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant and is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients with a variety of neurological conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and neurological assessments.
- Evaluate and manage patients with conditions including headaches, migraines, neuropathy, seizures, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising neurologist.
- Order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness in accordance with California regulations.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Coordinate care with referring providers and other members of the healthcare team.
- Participate in follow-up care and chronic disease management. Neurology PAs commonly perform neurological evaluations, manage treatment plans, interpret diagnostic testing, and provide ongoing patient education in collaboration with neurologists.
Qualifications
- Current California Physician Assistant license in good standing.
- NCCPA certification required.
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum 1 year of Physician Assistant experience required.
- Neurology experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and staff.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
