Full Job Description
Busy multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center (specialties include Ortho, GI, ENT, General, Ophthalmology, Pain Mgmt., Podiatry) in Simi Valley seeking a Surgical Tech for regular PER DIEM employment.
The successful candidate will:
*Have some experience (2+ years, preferred)
*Have some experience with instruments (Sterile Processing Dept)
*Be able to lift 35 pounds
*Be able to demonstrate good sterile technique
*Demonstrate thorough understanding and knowledge of operating room duties
*Be able to learn and anticipate surgeons’ needs in the OR*
*Communicate directly with Physicians to coordinate needs for surgical cases
*Be able to maintain inventory and ordering of supplies and needs for center
*Demonstrate willingness to participate as a team
