Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and hard working Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. We are a small, privately-owned Neurology practice in Pasadena close to Huntington Hospital.
The position is 100% outpatient. It includes providing patients with care for acute or chronic neurological issues. The general hours are 9 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday, no call or weekends.
We prefer a full time employee, Monday to Friday. However, part time will be considered for 4 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, either initial consultation or follow up evaluations
- Document in our electronic medical record (EMR)
- Utilize medical imaging, laboratory results, and ancillary neurological tests such as EMG and EEG to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, PAs and staff
- Provide patient education
Qualifications
- Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification to practice independently in California
- At least one year of clinical experience required
- Proficiency with EMR and telehealth systems
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology
- Professional, hard working, excellent communication
Pay: $155,000.00 – $190,000.00 per year
