Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced estimator. You must be able to work independently, be part of a team, and be very dependable. Being bilingual is a plus. ASE Collision Estimator, I-CAR Platinum Estimator, or I-CAR Platinum Auto Physical Damage Appraiser certification preferred but not required. This position is full-time and available immediately.

Qualifications:

  • Three or more years’ related experience in the collision repair industry.
  • Must be able to use CCC One and Mitchell estimating systems.
  • Must have basic MS Office knowledge, internet proficiency, and general math skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Excellent customer service skills are mandatory.
  • Must have a professional appearance and good work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment is necessary.
  • Must possess personal and professional integrity.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greets customers promptly and politely and assists with answering phones.
  • Thoroughly inspects vehicles to determine damages including structural, exterior, interior, overall body, and mechanical issues.
  • Assesses damaged vehicles and maps the damages.
  • Inputs written damage notes into the estimating systems.
  • Orders parts necessary for vehicle repairs.
  • Assists with insurance claims and prepares estimates and photos for upload and approval.
  • Must adhere to the standards of insurance direct repair protocols and be able to prepare estimates and images that meet those standards.
  • Maintains contact with the customer and insurance company while vehicle is in the repair process and provides accurate updates regarding the status of the repair.
  • Collaborate with technicians to review repair plans, prioritize work orders, and ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Reconciles and prepares final repair orders to match approved estimates and supplements.
  • Conducts quality control and final inspection upon delivery to customer.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions and possess strong organizational skills for managing multiple estimates simultaneously.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and must be able to walk, sit, bend, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl frequently.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Moderate noise level in this working environment.
  • Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, or wet conditions.

Pay: $63,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
