Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with at least one year of clinical experience! Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations to determine health status and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines.
  • Administer injections, including immunizations and medication injections such as botulinum toxin treatments for aesthetic or therapeutic purposes.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing tools such as sonography and laboratory specimen collection/processing to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across various settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care, and assisted living facilities.
  • Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Provide health coaching, patient education, and counseling on topics such as family planning, geriatrics, dementia care, and disease prevention.

Requirements

  • Valid Family Nurse Practitioner certification with a minimum of one year of direct clinical experience in primary care or related specialties.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for documentation and patient management.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, seniors, patients in hospice or palliative care, and individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of medical procedures such as suturing, IV infusion/insertion, catheterization, sterile processing techniques, and basic life support (BLS).
  • Familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10 coding standards for diagnoses, and utilization review processes.
  • Strong clinical skills in triage assessment, medication administration, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluation.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams in settings like hospitals (Level I/II trauma centers), outpatient clinics, or home care environments.
