Position Summary

As a Physician Assistant, you will provide healthcare services under the supervision of a physician. You will conduct complete physical exams, provide treatment, counsel patients, and prescribe medications. This role is ideal for a motivated provider comfortable managing both acute and chronic conditions in a primary care setting.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 annually (based on experience)
  • End-of-year bonus based on performance

  • 90-day probation period for full-time benefits eligibility

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Analyze records, reports, test results, and examination findings to diagnose patient conditions
  • Treat internal disorders such as hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, lung, kidney, gastrointestinal conditions, and women’s health annual wellness exams.
  • Prescribe or administer medications, therapies, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
  • Manage acute conditions such as infections, influenza, and pneumonia
  • Provide ongoing care for chronic and complex illnesses in adolescents, adults, and elderly patients. (Possible Pediatrics in the near future)
  • Deliver long-term, comprehensive care including diagnosis and non-surgical treatment
  • Document all patient encounters accurately using EMR systems
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
  • Willingness to travel to between clinic locations (Pasadena and Glendora) as needed

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Active and unrestricted California PA license
  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • 1–2 years of primary care, internal medicine, or family medicine experience preferred
  • Experience with EMR systems (PracticeFusion)
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred*
