Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for an outpatient medical imaging position requiring ARRT(R) certification, a California Fluoroscopy Permit, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Details
- Outpatient medical imaging clinic setting
- Procedures include diagnostic x-ray of the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, and ankle
- Operates X-ray equipment, processes images, and documents into PACS
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- 8-hour day shifts with a 7:30 AM start time
- Weekend scheduling possible
- May float to Main Radiology as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current ARRT(R) certification
- Current BLS/BCLS certification
- Current California CRT (Certificate of Radiologic Technology) issued by the CA Department of Health Services — license required if applicable
- Valid California Fluoroscopy Permit
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient positioning for diagnostic x-ray, image processing, and PACS documentation
- Provides basic patient care under clinic nurse supervision, including obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, collecting specimens, drawing blood if qualified, and assisting the clinician
- Responsible for maintaining an orderly and well-stocked work area
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Must be a W-2 employee of their staffing agency
