We are a small, family-owned pain management clinic with locations in North Scottsdale and Flagstaff, and we are excited to expand our team. We are seeking a dedicated provider who can offer coverage at both locations. Ideally, the candidate would work in our Flagstaff clinic once every 28 days, exclusively on Thursdays, and in our Scottsdale location 3-4 times a month, with shifts available Monday through Wednesday. We value work-life balance and do not require work outside of regular clinic hours, nor are interested in doing so. Pain Management certification is preferred but not required. We are flexible and willing to accommodate a provider who works on a PRN basis, with the option to work at both locations. However, we are also open to hiring two providers, one for each location, to best meet our clinic’s needs and maintain continuity of care for our patients.
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or a Physician’s Assistant join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and possess a diverse skill set to contribute effectively to our pain management practice.
Responsibilities– Conduct comprehensive physical assessments- Develop and implement patient care plans- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results- Prescribe medications and treatments- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements– Must be licensed to practice in Arizona, unrestricted preferred but will work with probation on case-by case basis.
– Must be capable of prescribing C2 prescriptions
– If a PA-C, must be able to practice WITHOUT an overseeing MD.
– Must be able to be contracted with insurances, state and federal.
– Must be able to chart efficiently to satisfy medical necessity and Board requirements.
– Must maintain malpractice insurance and provide a copy of the COI.
– Must feel comfortable prescribing both non-opioid and opioid medications/treatments.
– Must be able to perform trigger point injections, or willing to learn.
– Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and their family members when changing treatment plans.
– Must be able to effectively communicate with the staff and owner to facilitate the best treatment outcomes, chart appropriately and prescribe appropriately.
– Must review PMP and urine analysis reports with each patient.
