Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Gynecologic Oncology team. This position is ideal for a PA with a passion for oncology, women’s health, and surgery. The PA will work closely with gynecologic oncologists, medical staff, and patients to provide comprehensive care in both surgical and clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
Surgical First Assist:
- Serve as first assist in robotic, laparoscopic, and open gynecologic oncology surgeries.
- Provide intraoperative support, including suturing, hemostasis, and tissue handling.
- Ensure proper preoperative preparation and postoperative management of surgical patients.
Inpatient & Outpatient Care:
- Conduct hospital rounds, monitor post-operative patients, and coordinate care with the surgical team.
- Manage chemotherapy patients, including monitoring for adverse effects and coordinating infusions.
- Perform patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and assist in treatment planning.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Conduct new patient consultations, follow-ups, and survivorship visits.
- Assist in the management of complex gynecologic oncology cases, including symptom management and palliative care.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and post-surgical care.
Qualifications
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with licensure in Arizona.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in surgical oncology, gynecology, or a related field (new graduates with strong surgical rotations may be considered).
- Proficiency in surgical first assist techniques, including robotic and laparoscopic procedures.
- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in gynecologic oncology, and complex surgical cases.
- Prior training in oncologic patient management.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year
