We are currently seeking a full-time, ANRP or Physician Assistant to join our Interventional Pain Management Department! ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/ FUNCTIONS of Pain Management APRN/PA:
- Effectively identifies, evaluates, and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care
- Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain issues.
- Educates patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications including education about the risks of opioid treatment.
- Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical chronic pain problems and health care needs.
- Utilizes an Electronic Medical Record to document physical findings, and formulates plan and prognoses, based on patient’s condition. Prepares comprehensive patient care plan.
- Treats patients with acute and chronic pain.
Position Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Advanced Practice Nurse Master’s Degree or Master of Science in Physician Assistant
- Active state license
