PNurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) — Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine (Outpatient + Light Inpatient)

Location: Smithfield, NC (30 minutes from Raleigh)Practice: Ali Lung Clinic PC — located on the campus of UNC Johnston Health

About the Practice

Ali Lung Clinic provides comprehensive Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine care in a collaborative, patient-focused setting. The clinic is conveniently located on the hospital campus, allowing easy coordination of care with inpatient services.

Position Overview

• Primarily outpatient pulmonary and sleep clinic
• Some hospital consults (light inpatient exposure)
• Work alongside an attending physician with direct supervision and teaching
• All patients reviewed with attending daily (except when on vacation)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage pulmonary and sleep medicine patients
• Conduct follow-ups and new patient visits in clinic
• Participate in limited inpatient consults
• Document encounters accurately and efficiently

Clinical Environment

• EMR: AdvancedMD (clinic), EPIC (hospital records)
• Dictation: Dragon
• Experienced, supportive clinical staff
• Efficient workflow designed to reduce administrative burden

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No nights, no weekends

Compensation

• $110,000 – $130,000/year (based on experience)
• Productivity bonus available for higher patient volume

Qualifications

• NP or PA (licensed or eligible in North Carolina)
• Preferred: ≥1 year experience
