Duties

• Conduct detailed patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, and critical care.
• Perform procedures including suturing, IV insertions, catheterizations, dermal fillers, and sterile processing techniques.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document medical records accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across disciplines to coordinate patient care plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide patient education on health coaching, medication administration, nutrition, and disease management strategies.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification from the appropriate licensing board.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with procedures like venipuncture, phlebotomy, sterile technique, and injection administration.
• Critical care experience in settings such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, diagnostic evaluation methods, and CPT coding for billing purposes.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Additional experience in telehealth services, infection control practices, acute pain management, or hospital medicine is a plus.

Pay: $80.00 – $90.00 per hour
